As part of theYacht Club Presentsstream, Yacht Club has announced thenext DLC updateforShovel Knight Dig. TheWicked WishesDLC is free and will arrive alongside a slew of balance and bug fixes sometime this Summer.
TheWicked Wishesexpansion has you enter Hoofman’s Guild Hall to rub elbows with other elite adventurers and rise in their ranks. It includes new missions and challenges, relics and buffs, bosses and music; the whole nine. If you’re unfamiliar,Shovel Knight Digis the roguelite spinoff to 2014’sShovel Knight.
I don’t mean to tease, but on the stream, they refer to the additional challenges as “rip-roaring.” It’s cute.
Alongside the DLC, they’re also promising over 100 bug fixes, a rebalanced algorithm, and localization fixes. Considering that quite afew player complaintsseem to be just about things that need to be tightened, rebalanced, or tweaked, hopefully, this will be exactly what the game needs.
Yacht Club is also saying that this will be the last updated forShovel Knight Dig. They’re putting a ribbon on it and calling it done. Or however that saying goes. To top things off, they’re releasing ports for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Shovel Knight Digis currently available for Switch, PC, and mobile platforms. TheWicked WishesDLC and PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version are aiming for this summer.
