Trials of the Dragon Kingis out on July 20

It looks like we’re getting aStranger of ParadiseDLC pack fairly soon, and it should remind you of some classic 2010s addons. Wait,Stranger of ParadiseDLC? Well, there was a season pass for it, so it seems like this was always the plan, as far as Square Enix is concerned.

Although upfront season passes with micro-expansions feels relatively “2010s,” the first one is fully confirmed for July 20, as of this week. The publisher has revealedTrials of the Dragon King, which will usher in new equipment, as well as new jobs and challenge missions.

The trailer below gives us a look at a few spoilery boss battles, which seem to be the core focus of the DLC. Two more DLC add-ons will launch at some point later on (likely this year given the short timing window):Wanderer of the Rift, andDifferent Future. The last one sounds uh, significant, if the title is anything to go by.

If you’re interested, you’re able to check out the season pass options here. A Game of the Year edition with some patches and all of the content is really going to hit the spot down the road, for everyone who understandably waited on this one.
