A new agreement between Activision Blizzard and Chinese ISP Tencent will bringCall of Duty Onlineto Chinese gamers.COD Onlinehas been in development for two years now, designed specifically for the Chinese market. When it’s done it will bring free-to-play multiplayer action with weapon and character customization to tens of millions of players. An in-game store will let players enhance their gear and weapons, as well as nab perks created specifically for this market.

Tencent, under a multi-year agreement with Activision Blizzard, will have an exclusive license to operate Call of Duty Online in mainland China. They’ll make money from microtransactions, of course.
