A few weeks ago, Ispokeabout howBioShock Remasteredwas pretty crappy on PC. 2K hadannouncedit was working on a patch, but never gave out a specific date. Thankfully, the wait for a playable release is now over.

Issued today, the new patches forBioShockandBioShock 2 Remasteredfeature a plethora of tweaks that should make the games playable, along with improving the general quality of life for each title. Along with FOV sliders and an option to disable mouse acceleration, users can now finally select the output of audio for the first game.

I particularly like that you can make adjusts to the HUD. Playing in 21:9 resolution and having the HUD stick to the edges of the screen would drive me nuts. I wouldn’t want to look so far away for such crucial information, but that won’t be an issue anymore. Now if only I had a monitor capable of 2560×1080.
