It is impossible to have gotten to 2015 without falling for the charm and class of Sakuya, or the zany life-loving Okosan (who is also objectively superior to all others), so just stop denying your avian passion. Allow yourself to fall into their feathery embrace as your lips/beaks/whatevers finally meet, nestled in their plumage until the sun rises once again.
That, or just get the official plushies thatare currently being Kickstarted. There’s currently 19 days left, but the campaign has managed to unlock the last of its stretch goals, meaning every potential pigeon lover will be available in a frankly disgustingly cute cuddly form.
The pledge tiers to actuallygetthe plushies are kind of confusing, and, unfortunately, a lot of the early stock has already gone. In theory, $25 will nab you one of the original campaign birds (Shuu, Ryouta or Okosan), while $1000 will get you the entire set, plus a whole load of extras including art by the originalHatoful Boyfriendartist, a giant Shuu plush and more.
For those not wanting to faff around with Kickstarter there’s some bad news: there is currently no confirmation that these plushies will be available elsewhere once the campaign ends. Chances are they will seeing as how popular this campaign is, but if you want to get one you might want to act fast.
