History of the Nintendo Museum Site

Back in 2021, Nintendo announced the renovation of one of their old facilities, itsUji Ogura Plant. First built in 1969, the plant’s original purpose was to produce playing cards and Hanafuda cards. Later on, the plant became a customer service hub, for the company’s products to be repaired.

The renovations announced include both the plant and the land surrounding it. Originally, this project was planned to be called theNintendo Gallerywith a similar concept and approach to its current museum idea.
