Ever watch a trailer and have your brain short-circuit for a bit as you attempt to process everything? That’s me right now with thisDemon’s Soulsgameplay trailer from the PS5 Showcase event.
The screenshots did not, in fact, do enough justice. There’s such a cinematic vibe to Bluepoint’s take on this From Software classic. The backstab and riposte alone caught me off guard. It’s a whole new world.
Demon’s Soulswill be a PS5 launch game on November 12 and cost $69.99. The original trailer ended with a note suggesting it’s coming to PC and it will be a PlayStation console exclusive “for a limited time,” but, according to a statement shared withKotaku,that’s incorrect– a “human error.”
Officially, Sony maintains thatDemon’s Soulsis a PS5 exclusive through and through.
