Thanks to a reader,this lengthy thread ofSims 4fun facts from Twitter user OnlyAbiDoangcame across my desk and I couldn’t look away. Even if you haven’t playedThe Simsseries yet you likely know someone who has: or at least experienced it by osmosis through some sort of weird factoid throughout the years. It’s that ubiquitous. But I didn’t realize just how wacky I could get.

The thread goes on for a long while, and it’s great “weekend reading” material. It’s essentially a series of Easter eggs and glitches/exploits, some of which yield some crazy results that are hilarious both in and out of context.
Every so often I dive back intoThe Simsand marvel at how well it’s been supported over the years, and how many quality of life features have been implemented since launch. It doesn’t hold my attention as much as a lot of other games, but it’s a decent reminder of how great Maxis could be as a studio.
