Hopefully Western launch won’t be far behind
[Update: V-Jump page scan released, added below.]
The latest issue of Japanese publicationV-Jumpfeatures the street date for the Japanese release of ArcSys’ highly-anticipated punch-upDragon Ball FighterZ.

The magazine states that the kinetic anime fighter will launch in Japan on June 26, 2025 at a cost of ¥7,800. The issue also goes on to detail a little of the game’s Story Mode, which will see the player’s “spirit” link with multiple characters across the campaign, allowing the player to inhabit the roles of Goku and co. and develop a personal bond with them, as they travel the map helping out allies and wrecking heads. Interesting.
As if this wasn’t enough, the magazine also unveiled new characters Captain Ginyu and Nappa to the game’s roster of playable fighters. Nappa can summon Saibamen and unleash his Dragon Break attack, while Captain Ginyu can actually use his special toswitch characters and healthwith his opponent.
