This major update has been planned since 2021. After many delays,Phasmophobia’sbiggest updateentered development on July 14, 2025. It still hasquite a way to go before release, but it’s officially being worked on now.

Since it’s likely slated to launch with the official full release ofPhasmophobia, it likely won’t be released until later in the year.

If the devs do decide to plan ahead, though, I could see it being released in September 2026 to celebrate the six-year anniversary. This update, releasing alongside the game officially exiting early access, seems like the perfect way to commemorate the occasion.
