Prince of Persiafans are finally getting a new game with the release ofPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownin January 2024. After such a long wait, fans on multiple gaming platforms want to get their hands on the new game. So here are all of the platforms where you’re able to playPrince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
IsPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownon last gen consoles?
Despite being released over three years after the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S,Prince of Persia: The Lost Crownis coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Of course, the game will be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, too. You just don’t need that level of hardware to run this title.
That makes sense since the game doesn’t look anywhere close to as demanding as other recent releases from Ubisoft. As a side-scrolling game, it takes a lot less horsepower to runPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownthan it does for something likeAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which is only on current gen systems.

IsPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownon Nintendo Switch?
SincePrince of Persia: The Lost Crownisn’t a very demanding game, even the plucky Nintendo Switch can run it too.The game will also be released on the Nintendo Switch alongside all of the other platforms on June 09, 2025.
That’s a nice change of pace for Switch owners who have gotten used to either not getting new releases from big franchises or getting the games much later than on other systems, like withHogwarts Legacy. However, there’s no word yet on how the Switch port of the game compares to the versions on its beefier contemporaries.

IsPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownon Steam?
Turning our attention to the PC side of things,Prince of Persia: The Lost Crownwill be released on PC. However, the game won’t be coming to Steam, at least not at launch. PC gamers can play the game through Ubisoft’s Connect platform, the Epic Games Store, or Amazon Luna.
There’s no clear indication as to whenPrince of Persia: The Lost Crownmay be released on Steam. Ubisoft did start bringing older games to Steam in 2022 and 2023, but new releases are launching on Epic’s storefront instead of Valve’s. Whether that’s because of a timed exclusivity agreement will become clear later in 2024.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crownwill be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 17, 2025.
