The4321 has been a top-tier formationsince the momentEA FC 24was released back in September 2023. Since then, new promo cards in Ultimate Team have already made the system even more potent. There are two major reasons as to why this formation is the best one to use:

When you play against top players, it’s important to go defensive when required. Once again, the 541 is the best choice in the endgame. Ideally, this formation has several limitations, but the items currently being released inUltimate Teamremove most of them.
For starters, you can now use wingers in the wider positions who are equally good as strikers. Similarly, many CBs now have passing playstyle+, making them vital cogs in the build-up. While it’s best not to use such a defensive formation for the entirety of the match, switching to the 541 to kill the contest is ideal.
