I’m sureriiFlex, the makers of the new Wiimote Dumbells accessory, are fine people and all, but if there was ever a gaming accessory product you absolutely do not need whatsoever, this is it. Designed for use with WiiFit, these dumbells are supposed to make your Wiimote feel more like a dumbell by adding weight in 2lb and 5lb increments.
It’s not riiFlex’s fault, really — I can’t say I blame them for trying to cash in on the gulliable mothers of the world who would rather buy weighted accessories than an actual pair of normal weights. At any rate, if you utterly disagree with me and think that these are the best thing since the invention of the wheel, you can go preorder themherewith a $5 deposit. The final price is yet to be determined, but I’m sure if you don’t already own a pair they could be handy for throwing at intruders or something.
