Not allYu-Gi-Oh!cards are created equal, so in the spirit of fairness, certain cards are banned from or limited in competitive play. Here’s a look at what you can and can’t do this year.

For clarity, Forbidden cards cannot be used in any of your decks. Limited means you may only have one of the cards across your main, side, or extra decks. Semi-limited means you can have two copies across your three decks.

2024 Forbidden Cards

The following is a list of all the cards that are forbidden fromYu-Gi-Oh!competitive play in 2024. You cannot have these cards in your deck in tournaments.

2024 Limited Cards

The following cards are Limited in 2024Yu-Gi-Oh!tournament play. This means, that you can only have one copy of these cards across your main, extra, and side decks.

2024 Semi-limited Cards

This list is for cards that are semi-limited in competitive play. This means that you can only have two copies of each card across your main, extra, and side decks.

Cards that are no longer on the list

Finally, these cards have been reverted to standard play, meaning you can now have them in your decks without any limitations.
