Easily one of the best Wii games
Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasureis one of the true forgotten gems on the Wii. A point and click puzzle adventure game, it focused on using the motion controls the console was based around in really intelligent ways. Simple repetitive gestures that were contextually appropriate, wrapped up in a charming if slightly childish aesthetic.
Zack and Wikiwas a weird mismatch tonally, with challenging puzzle design but a youth focused visual style and identity. Still, it’s one of my favourite games that was released on the Wii.
